Crysis Warhead is a sci-fi FPS game developed by Crytek Budapest and published by Electronic Arts This is an expansion to Crysis.

This title is a standalone game and does not need the previous game to be installed to run.
Apparently, this new title is not a typical expansion, it brings a lot of changes from its predecessor and it shows the story on the other side of the Island.

Crysys Warhead starts, introducing the main character, Sykes, in action, showing us the new twist of this action packed game. The intro is full of shootings, explosions and acrobatic leaps, and it shows us this new characters immersed in the heat of the battle. Warhead is an intense game, as well as a thrilling experience, with a defined story.

To sum up, we're talking about something more than an expansion. While maintaining all the characteristic features of the original game, our walk with Sgt. Sykes through this iced hell is a different experience. Different by the intensity of the game, for a more clearly directed development towards the more visceral action without neglecting, nor freedom of action neither the many features of the nano suit. Features that will remain, as well as the graphics engine, the enemies AI and the controls, all polished for a more pleasant experience. The passage of time goes unnoticed: Crysis Warhead still brings a lot of fun, as much as its predecessor. Only a few small flaws in specific sections of our adventure, that annoying SecuROM and a feeling of deja-vu undermines the spirit of one of the best products that have been developed for the PC this year.
